About this photograph:

I took this shot of a singing Bewick's Wren one Saturday morning right near my house when I heard him singing. I followed his song until I located him, and the light was just right to provide a light shadow to the bird with the golden ring around the edge of the bird from the sun. Wrens are some of the most interesting birds to watch as they are full of energy and are always moving.
